Sunken borders and a washed-out driveway have a way of making the whole property look rough - even when everything else is in decent shape. It's one of those things that sneaks up on you. The border shifts a little here, gravel migrates there, and before long the place just looks tired. That's exactly what we were dealing with on this one.
We tackled the landscape borders first. When edging sinks or shifts, it stops doing its job - rock spreads into the lawn, weeds push through, and the whole bed loses its shape. We reset and repaired the borders to get everything sitting tight and defined again. Fresh rock went in across the beds along the front of the house and around back, giving the property a clean, finished look that actually holds up.
The tree ring in the front yard got the same attention. A properly built border around a mature tree does more than look good - it keeps mower damage away from the roots and gives the base of the tree a neat, intentional appearance. We built it up solid with natural stone border and filled it with matching rock so it ties into the rest of the landscaping.
Then there's the driveway. Gravel driveways are low-maintenance when they're properly graded and filled, but when they get thin or start rutting, they become a mud and drainage problem fast. We regraded and refreshed the surface to get it smooth and even again - the kind of result that's immediately obvious when you pull in.
Sometimes a property just needs someone to come in, fix what's broken, and do it right. No overcomplicated plans, no unnecessary upsells. Just solid landscaping work that makes the whole place look like it's being taken care of.
